Buying Tickets for RCP Productions
How can I purchase tickets to Reston Community Players productions?
You have three options:
You may order online using this web site. Click the red and white Order Now link for the specific performance you want. Enter the quantity of tickets that you want into the shopping cart form, then click the Check Out button and provide payment information (Visa or Mastercard credit card number). Your purchase will be identified on your statement as
RESTON PLAYERS.ORG 703-435-2707 VA. RCP uses secure shopping cart software provided by 1ShoppingCart.com.You may call the CenterStage box office at 703-476-4500 beginning two weeks before the first performance.
You may visit the CenterStage box office beginning two weeks before the first performance. (You might want to call ahead to check box office hours.)
Season Subscribers
I have already purchased season tickets. Can I still make my reservations online?
Yes. Use the Subscribers page to order your tickets.
I am a season ticket holder. In the past, subscribers have been given priority seating over non-subscribers. If I reserve my seats over the web, will I still receive priority seating?
Yes. The CenterStage box office will make season ticket orders available for pickup three weeks before a show opens; other seat orders are available for pickup beginning two weeks before the show opens. As long as you order during the subscribers' priority period, your order will be filled before the orders of single ticket buyers.
Picking up Tickets
Will you mail me my tickets?
Sorry, no. All tickets will be held at the box office for pickup.
When can I pick up my tickets from the box office?
Subscribers may pick up their tickets beginning three weeks before the production opens; others may pick up their tickets two weeks before the first performance.
Buying Tickets Online
Why is there an extra charge to buy tickets online?
Reston Community Players incurs additional internet-related costs when selling tickets online. The $3.00 convenience fee helps to cover these costs. If you prefer not to pay the fee, you may order your tickets by phone or in person, as described above. The CenterStage box office does not charge a service fee for telephone or walk-up sales.
How can I be sure that seats are available?
Tickets can be purchased online at an earlier date than they can be purchased at the box office. Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. However, your ticket (i.e. seat assignment) will not be available for pickup any sooner than three weeks prior to opening night for season subscribers, and two weeks prior to opening night for the general public.
If you attempt to purchase tickets to a performance for which there are no tickets available online, the system will notify you after you submit your checkout page on the shopping cart. If that happens, please select another performance; call the box office (703-476-4500); or visit the box office in person.
The online box office does not accept orders for a performance less than (approximately) 72 hours in advance.
What happens if a performance is rescheduled or cancelled?
If a performance has to be rescheduled, your tickets will be honored for the new performance date. If you are not able to attend the new performance, please request a refund. Your refund will come directly from RCP, and will not show up as a credit on your credit card statement.
If a performance is cancelled, you will receive a refund directly from RCP, rather than a credit on your credit card statement.
What about pricing errors?
If the amount you pay for a ticket is obviously incorrect (regardless of errors posted on this site or in other communications to you), Reston Community Players reserves the right to cancel the ticket(s), or the pending order for the ticket(s), and refund to you the amount that you were charged.
Is there anything else I should know?
Reston Community Players does not promise that this site is error-free, uninterruptable, or will provide any specific results from use of this site. RCP will not be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, or any other damages from use, misuse, error, unrealized expectations, lost sales, or any unintended consequences of using this site.
